Helping Heroes Fund
Brings Together Community, Sustainability, and PurposeOUR Mission
Helping Heroes Fund was born from a simple idea shared by Tom McDermott and Tim Martel on a golf course—recognizing that many golfers have perfectly good shirts sitting unused in their closets. From that moment came a mission to turn excess into impact.
We collect gently worn golf shirts from country club members and golf communities across New England, giving them new life through resale. The proceeds are then directed to veteran charities, supporting those who have served and their families.
By transforming everyday items into meaningful contributions, Helping Heroes Fund brings together community, sustainability, and purpose—proving that even the smallest ideas can make a powerful difference.
We are a 501c3 certified non-profit (33-4522624)
